Going skiing in March officially kicks off the spring skiing season. You just can’t beat deep snow, warmer temps, spring storms and goggle tans.
The way mother nature is shaping up this March, spring skiing is going to be hit or miss. For many ski areas around the continent it really has been a feast of a famine in regards to snow pack. Areas like Tahoe, the Wasatch Mountains and parts of Colorado are experiencing snow levels much smaller than average.
If you have plans to travel to these areas you may be delegated to skiing groomers, or you may want to bring your rock skis, and if you’re are still looking to book a trip you may want to check out these locations and bring out the powder planks.
